This rambunctious love letter to the theatre offers a dramatic mix
of laughter, tears and deception as an amateur playwright loses
control of the stage to his characters, who neglect his dialogue and
directions and insist on their own. Even worse are the real people
from the playwright’s life who intrude with their
own hot mess of memories.
