‘’Threads on Fire” is an immersive multidisciplinary performance that takes the event of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory, happened in New York in 1911, as a meeting point with the femicides in Mexico during the last decade, echoing one another. The liminal space of the factory sets the scenario where their quests are interlaced in communal pain. How do these women portray and dialogue in feminism?

Bio.
Anamaría Willars is a Mexican artist based in NY. She is interested in theater that engages in sociopolitical dialogue, one that is told in Mexican folklore. Her works include performances as an actress, writer, and producer. A graduate student of the Contemporary Theatre and Performance program at The New School. Anamaría was accredited by NYU Tisch Drama for the Performing Arts Industry.
