A passionate young woman named Charlie decides to write a story about people that are homeless. The stories these people share with her are sad, funny and compelling. The experience changes her life forever, and, hopefully, will change the audience’s life as well. “Sometimes you have to embrace the crazy, just in order to stay sane.”

Playwright’s Bio.
There’s a saying. Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain. Having been homeless and hospitalized for mental illness, Rich has done a lot of dancing. He has owned a sausage hero pushcart business, appeared on Law and Order as a New York Police officer, and currently works for Fountain House as a peer counselor.
