Bio.
Alex Story is a fourth generation native New Yorker (west village). Her parents ran an Off Off Broadway theater called The IRT and she spent much of her after school and summers watching plays and absorbing the environment. She majored in creative writing at Sarah Lawrence and since has had several writing and creative projects. The Pause was written third week of the pandemic which is when it takes place.
