In this darkly funny 60 minute, one act play, two estranged adult siblings are forced to reconcile their differences while cleaning out their late mother’s home. Past traumas resurface along with opposing ideas about their upbringing. At its core, Syzygy explores the delicate symmetry between opposites; male and female, brother and sister, life and death.
Bio.
Candice Fox is a New York City–based writer. Her debut play, Duality, was selected for the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2016, marking her early emergence as a bold theatrical voice. Most recently, she brought her deeply personal one-woman show, Cheers, Mom! Eulogy for a Living Parent, to the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, further cementing her reputation for fearless, intimate storytelling.
