We follow Dite, who wants to remember herself, Cain, who wants to forget love, and Arkadina, who swears she will die without it. When Cain and Arkadina join, they become Jezebel, the embodiment of Dite’s sexual shame. RIBCAGE: A REVELATION explores how love becomes grotesque when we try to force it to be clean— inspired by the author’s experience growing up Queer while raised Christian in Texas.
Bio.
Corinne Renick is a theatre artist obsessed with the human heart and the cages that surround it. They graduated from NYU Tisch May 2025, where they studied Drama and Creative Writing. Corinne’s work uses fragmented text and abstract stage directions to weave narratives, an ever-growing tribute to late playwright Sarah Kane and the ways she boldly presented the grittiest parts of humanity onstage.
