BIOGRAPHY:
William has acted at The Utah Shakespearean Festival, two seasons with The Orlando Shakespeare Festival, and in a Shakespearean fundraiser performance at GableStage in Florida. Regionally, he received strong reviews in such diverse leading roles as explorer Meriwether Lewis in “Grinder’s Stand” in Catskill, N.Y., as the Beast/Prince in “Beauty & the Beast” at Plays & Players Theatre in Philadelphia, and as Brother Boy, the drag queen obsessed with Tammy Wynette and wrongfully committed to a mental institution in “Sordid Lives”, at Rising Action Theatre in Ft. Lauderdale. In NYC, he has appeared in lead roles at Ensemble Studio Theatre, The White Horse Theater Company and Theatre for the New City. In film & television, he played Steve Bales in the TV series, “Days That Shook the World" narrated by Sir Ian Holm for the BBC. He was Mark in the independent film about Irish immigrants, “Beyond the Pale” produced by Maiden Voyage Pictures. He was a cyberterrorist in “Hacker Land”, the award-winning (Cannes Film Festival – Silver Lion 2018) corporate web series for Accenture. And he received the Best Actor award at the University of Miami Film Festival for his role as homeless man Grizz in the short film, “Halfway Home”.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
A working actor in New York City, excelling in both comedic & dramatic roles, William has a diverse training background. He graduated with a distinguished degree from Penn State University’s BFA Program, studying Acting, Movement and Voice. He completed a graduate-level study abroad program associated with the University of London, and took classes with The Royal Shakespeare Company. Living in New York City, he studied a year with legendary teacher, Wynn Handman, and took classes with Stella Adler Studios (Jeb Diamond), and improv classes with The Magnet Theatre (Armando Diaz) and the former Second City Improv, (NYC).
