BIOGRAPHY:
Being the daughter of a single mother and nurse who spent over 45 years in nursing home administration, Tannasia Gonzalez, aka T, grew up riding the old mercury blood pressure machines up and down the halls of the nursing home waiting for the day’s work to be completed and chatting with the residents. Following in the footsteps of her strongest role model, she pursued a career in healthcare administration, and during the journey, discovered a passion for informatics and analytics.
T’s experience as a playwright began when she was 14. At 18, she finished Eboné, her first Five Act play, of which a skinny version was produced at her college, Pace University, in 1997. While T has won honorary mention for her writing, lead the formation of a college literary organization & ran the Creative Writing section of the University Newspaper, over the last 20 plus years she’s built a successful career as a Healthcare Executive, specializing in Data Management and Analytics.
Ultimately, T is a storyteller at heart…whether she’s telling stories with healthcare data or about the human condition, she does it with full passion. In addition to being a Healthcare Executive and a playwright, she is the host of the Let's Talk Small Data with T podcast, listed to across six continents and over 35 countries, diving into stories of how experts are improving lives by leveraging their small data.
