BIOGRAPHY:
Susan Gilman is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Manhattan, and is currently training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she focuses on scene study, technique, improvisation, and on-camera work. Recent credits include When They Walk (Mother’s Lawyer), a reenactment role in Jason DaSilva’s upcoming documentary slated for release in 2026, and Marsha in Burn and Rave with Write Act Repertory. She brings a grounded, curious energy to every rehearsal room and is known for her collaborative spirit, sharp instincts, and dry New York humor. With a strong foundation in improvisation, she loves exploring characters who balance vulnerability with wit. Before acting, Susan worked in strategic operations—a past life that now fuels her discipline, adaptability, and love for organized chaos on set. She continues to deepen her craft and pursue meaningful work across film, television, and theater throughout the city she’s always called home.
