BIOGRAPHY:
Sophie Maja Hughes is a New York City based performer most recently working in theater, television, and film. Sophie is a trained vocalist and a versatile, multi-faceted artist with experience in modeling, dance, writing, music composition and performance, costuming, directing, and fine art. Sophie is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy New York Conservatory, and they are currently pursuing their BFA in Musical Theater at The New School. Sophie has most recently been featured in several short films, worked as a background actor for Central Casting, and has been a part of staged readings as an original cast member through Ring of Keys and The New School. Sophie is honored to be a part of Gorilla Door and the New York Theater Festival.
