BIOGRAPHY:
Michael Ricciardone (he/him) is a Southington, Connecticut native living in Queens! He attended Western Connecticut State University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. He also attended the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts with a focus in Musical Theatre. As a director and actor, his work has been seen across the Northeast region. Directing/Acting credits with J2 Spotlight Off-Broadway Musical Company (NYC), The College Light Opera Company (MA), Priscilla Beach Theater (MA), Roxy Regional Theater (TN), GetUp Stage Company (CT). Recent Associate Directing: Sweat by Lynn Nottage, Radium Girls A New Musical, A Class Act, and The Baker’s Wife accompanied by composer, Stephen Schwartz. Recent Directing: Heathers the Musical. Michael was an SDC Directing Initiative Finalist at The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Favorite performance highlights include Link in Hairspray, Count Carl Magnus in A Little Night Music, Woody Mahoney in Finian’s Rainbow, Lewis in Pippin. He is on the team at Theatrical Rights Worldwide here in NYC. He would like to thank his family and friends for always being his biggest supporters!
