BIOGRAPHY:
Malaika Tinashe is an actor, writer, director, and model born in South Africa and raised in St. Louis, MO. She has been acting since she was 10 years old with the St. Louis Black Repertory Theater. They are a graduate of Pace University’s BFA Acting program and currently works as a Teaching Artist for the non-profit organization Girl Be Heard. Some of Malaika's theater credits include Blackgirltopia (by Sharai Dottin w. Emerging Artists NYC), Getting to Know You (Brownstone Steps Ent.), All’s Well That Ends Well (Pace University), and Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Pace University). Film/TV: Industry Standards (Short), Hypnagogia (Short), Equalizer (Background). Malaika also loves dancing, especially heels dancing. Malaika’s passion for art is intrinsically linked to her passion for humanity and social justice, and they strive to show that in their work at all times. Currently seeking representation.
