BIOGRAPHY:
Hailing from the Midwest, Josh began acting as a way to make sense of the world & be goofy without consequence. Only the latter has so far been successful. Previous roles include “Bottom” in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (KC Ren Fest), “Eugene” in Brighton Beach Memoirs (KCJCC), “Patsy” in Spamalot (KCJCC), “Barry Klemper” in The Boys Next Door (John Beasley Theater), & “Hank” in Marvin’s Room (KC Barn Players), for which he won the Best Supporting Actor award. Trauma, Bonding is his 3rd show with the NY Theater Festival, having acted as “Evan” in WEGO, & “Scarecrow” in Emerald Eyes, his own play. His plays Emerald Eyes & TLC have been performed at the NY Theater Festival & KC Fringe Festival, respectively. He is currently working on a 2 act version of Trauma, Bonding, as well as various books he hopes to publish. When not acting or writing, he enjoys spending time with his cat Garrus, playing video games, and learning useless facts about almost anything. If you enjoy the show, he wrote it. If not, it was someone else. IG: @joshsquash729
