BIOGRAPHY:
Jimmy Murphy grew up in Northampton Massachusetts and moved to NYC in August. He has been acting since he was ten years old and most recently played John Merrick in The Elephant Man and Hal in Proof. He is thrilled to be performing in his first New York City show since moving here and hopes you enjoy watching the play as much as he enjoyed being in it.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Jimmy Murphy trained at the Hartt School actor training program before transferring to UMass Amherst and getting his degree in theater there. He is currently taking film acting classes with MN studios and plans to apply to Juillard's MFA acting program.
