BIOGRAPHY:
Jane Seaman has performed on Broadway in The Secret Garden, Anything Goes, and Big River. Off-Broadway she appeared opposite John Rubinstein in the Sycamore Street Kite Flying Club reading, We’re Still Hot! and won critical acclaim for her portrayal of Anna Maurrant in STREET SCENE at ELT. On National Tours, Jane has appeared as the Baroness opposite Marie Osmond and Debby Boone in The Sound of Music; in addition, she performed opposite Richard Kiley in Man of La Mancha. Regionally, Ms. Seaman has performed coast to coast in such shows as Follies-- Carlotta, Cinderella--the Queen opposite Ruth Buzzi, Into the Woods--the Stepmother, A Child’s Christmas in Wales (New Jersey Shakespeare Festival), Hello, Dolly!--Mrs. Molloy, Kismet --Lalume, and The Merry Widow--the Widow. On television and film you ‘may have missed’ Jane in her appearances on FEUD:CAPOTE VS. THE SWANS as Nona Parks, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, ANOTHER WORLD, MURPHY BROWN, AMERICA’S MOST WANTED, THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE, and THE ANIMAL ROOM. No stranger to cabaret and the concert stage, Jane has done solo acts and quartet work in New York City and Los Angeles clubs, plus mountain resorts and Holland America Cruise Lines. Her most recent show “Love is in the Air” was performed in July, 2021, for the NiCori Studios series: Music at the Mansion Porch, June, ’22, Solo benefit for EAG and at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, “Hi-Ho, the Glamorous Life” Faculty: Marymount Manhattan College, Paper Mill Playhouse
