BIOGRAPHY:
Gonzalo is a composer, lyricist, music director, accompanist, actor, educator, and physicist. He immigrated from Chile at the age of 8 and has been working in theater and writing songs since the age of 14. For the last two decades, he has had the privilege of working with many organizations, schools, and theaters in bringing music and art to audiences and communities all around the NJ/NYC area.
With his partner, Michael Campbell, their original works have been showcased in the form of readings, concerts, workshops, and full productions at 54 BELOW, MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY, BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, 4TH WALL THEATRE, PLEASANT VALLEY PRODUCTIONS, and more. Their current project (Goblins & Gates) was a 2023 National Playwrights Conference Finalist.
Gonzalo lives with his amazing wife, Danielle, and is committed to creating original and exciting art while also working tirelessly to help teach and inspire future generations to do the same.

Mentored by Ilene Greenbaum (Music Director/Conductor) in music direction, conducting, audition techniques, and accompanying skills.
