BIOGRAPHY:
Gabriel Joaquin Pupo is an award-winning actor with an extensive background in theater and film. A graduate of NYU Tisch’s Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, he has trained in Stanislavsky, Brecht, and on-camera technique at Stonestreet Studios. His stage credits span over 25 productions, including Wizard of Oz (Zeke/Cowardly Lion), Burn This (Pale), 1776 (Edward Rutledge), Twelve Angry Men (Juror #3), Fuenteovejuna (Ortuño/Don Manrique), Ace of Swords (Player), The Danish Prince: Radio Play (Narrator), and Anxiety is the Dizziness of Freedom (Jorge/Roderick). On screen, he has starred in Elegy, Boston (Pilot), and The Voice Inside, a PBS series where he plays the lead role of Daniel. His performance in The Voice Inside: The Graduation Dilemma earned him recognition as a Monthly Finalist at the New York International Film Awards and an Official Selection at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival. As always, with a dedication to character-driven storytelling, Gabriel hopes to continue to bring compelling and engaging performances to the stage and screen.
