BIOGRAPHY:
Eileen was born to a first generation Muslim Albanian father in Waterbury, CT. On her mother’s side she can trace an ancestor back to the accusing side of the Salem Witch Trials. A graduate of Westover School in Middlebury, CT., she has a BA in Art History & Film from Vassar College where she was in a theater group with Noah Baumbach, Jason Blum, and John Gatins. Further study includes The Atlantic Theater Company, The Actors Studio at The New School, and The Beverly Hills Playhouse. She's worked at Comedy Central, Diane Von Furstenberg, Saturday Night Live / Broadway Video and Pace Gallery which brought her to the West Coast where she was a lit agent's assistant at CAA, worked near a tram stop on the Universal lot, read scripts for Todd Lieberman at Mandeville and finally Virgin Records America where she had a hand in throwing some epic parties. She appeared in several off-Broadway plays and corporate training films in the '90's. She studied writing at UCLA, NYU, Sundance Collab, Stowe Story Labs and the NJ Play Lab and was once a semi-successful mom blogger with her own Cafe Mom column! An avid horse rider she volunteers at an adapted riding equine therapy stable near where she lives in semi-rural New Jersey with her husband, a music executive and their two teen sons.
