BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Palm Springs, CA. UCLA undergrad for theater. Accepted into LAMDA's master program for classical acting but, thankfully, declined because the pandemic would have been his graduation gift. Derek has traveled the country and parts of the world for acting. He's taken a 2 year road trip in which he visited every state and has a book which is still being edited about that trip. Paved Roads is the first play Derek has ever written, directed, or produced but then, there's something about NYC that makes you a little more active in your passions. It boils down a few of the main ideas from that book into a 30 minute One-act.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
16 years of martial arts training, gun twirling, horseback riding, bo staff, intermediate guitar, singing, can cross one eye or crack the bones in his right hand just by making a fist. Also and empath.
OTHER SKILLS:
My skills that are not special include bike riding, conflict resolution, and making a damn near perfect scramble out of some AA grade eggs.
