BIOGRAPHY:
Deborah Lemen is an accomplished working actor, teacher, writer, director, and producer with experience in both New York and Southern California. She has trained under renowned acting coaches George Morrison and Jack Waltzer in New York, as well as Peter Flood and Ivana Chubbuck in Los Angeles. With over 25 years of experience, Deborah developed her own comprehensive approach, known as the Lemen Technique, combining her original methods with elements of Strasberg's Method, the Meisner Technique, the Chubbuck Technique, Stanislavski's Method, and the Gestalt Acting Method. She was the first professional acting coach to adapt the Ivana Chubbuck Technique specifically for children and teens, making its powerful acting tools accessible and age-appropriate while maintaining the depth and effectiveness of the original technique. Her work has helped hundreds of actors develop their craft and secure prominent roles in the entertainment industry, including numerous award-winning performers.
