BIOGRAPHY:
"The Theater”, an expression upon which demands souls to delve into depth of spirit.
To remain a perpetual student of life is what propels, Bianca Lopez, in her allegiance to theater. From an early age, she was drawn to the stage, even completing eighteen years of classical ballet at a conservatory. With a penchant for dramatic flair, Bianca has forayed studying, living and traveling abroad to over 43 countries as the foundation of her craft. She received training from Jeremy Geidt and Thomas Derrah at Harvard University’s American Repertory Theatre, theatrical training at Columbia University, method acting instruction at The Lee Strasberg Institute and a focus on Shakespeare at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Television Production graduating Magna Cum Laude at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Bianca currently completed her second year workshopping her writing with the prestigious Yale University Writers’ Workshop. She is a resident director and dramaturg at New Perspectives Theatre. She is honored to be the director for the debut of Chelyn Cousar’s Two Weeks.
