BIOGRAPHY:
Aprella Godfrey Barule is an actor, writer, and award-winning performance artist based in New York City.
Her love of the stage and screen inspired her to leave her small hometown in Alabama at an early age to investigate the world as a actor and writer.

In June 2024, Aprella can be seen in her new play, Just A Matter Of Time, at Hudson Guild Theater during the New York Theater Festival. This play is based off of a short film also written by Aprella that will be released in 2025.
Other select acting credits include: American Rot which was directed by Oscar winner Estelle Parsons at LaMama, Television at The Wild Project, John Singer Sargent & Madame X at Prism Theater, Public Access: Robin Byrd at The Call, Jig Saw at Chekhov Theater, and Humorously Horrendous Haunted Hideaway (a two-person show with a cigarette smoking puppet) at 59E59.
Additionally, she performed her own flying stunts in the film Dracula's Daughters, her own underwater stunts in the film Ivory Shadows, and can be seen on horseback as Lady Godiva for the Travel Channel.
