BIOGRAPHY:
Allie Lewis is a singer-songwriter, composer, playwright, music director, director, conductor, vocalist, pianist, and actor from Trumbull, Connecticut. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing at NYU as a composer in the program. In 2018, during her gap year after completing high school, she worked on various music and theatre projects in the city, and worked at the York Theatre as assistant music director and production intern for Midnight at the NeverGet and Christmas in Hell. She worked as the Music Ministry Intern at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Brooklyn, where she has continued as their Summer/Substitute Music Director to this day. In September of 2023, she performed a release concert at Rockwood Music Hall to celebrate her debut album of original music, “Woman in the Moon”, which can be found on all streaming platforms. Most recently, she acted as music copyist for the Greenroom 42 concert of “Next Year in Connecticut,” and directed and acted in "Mayday, Piper Cherokee" for the OneAct Festival at The Secret Theater. She has upcoming appearances at 54 Below (pianist/bandleader: “I Like It Like That”) and Don’t Tell Mama (performer: “Hear Us Roar!”). She adores music directing and performing for her fellow writers' new works, and is thrilled to be stage managing for Momma One Momma Two!

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
In 2023, Allie graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance and an Outside Field in Dramatic Writing. While at Ithaca, she music directed for the IC Show Choir, Theatre Lab (13!, HSM, Grease, The Addams Family), IC Second Stage (The Mad Ones), and stage managed “Burr: A New Musical.” She founded, music directed, and performed in Tone Cold, an acapella group focused on collaboration with outside musicians/composers/arrangers and the other acapella groups on campus.
