BIOGRAPHY:
Albert has worked in Latin America for the past twenty years as an independent filmmaker. His early studies began in theater as an actor for the 'Now Theater Company' in Paterson, NJ where he performed in the regional play of “Does A Tiger Wear A Necktie." He attended NYU Tisch and earned his experiences with film studios behind the camera. His work always investigates the dark corners, seeking spiritual light, and addresses the themes of justice, transformation, and healing. “Hermafrodita” was his most successful feature film that screened in 27 countries distributed by HBO. He’s finalizing a Virtual Reality 360 short film of “Halston’s Amitha” slated for film festivals. He is directing his next feature film, "Jibaro" in June 2023 and is presently producing the musical documentary of the bachata sensation group, “Aventura.”
