“Ocean in a Teacup” is a spiritual quest musical based on the true story of an American pacifist during WW2 who becomes a Red Cross medic stationed in India. When he betrays his vow never to kill, he can’t bring himself to return home in shame to the woman he loves. He meets and Indian doctor and spiritual teacher who offers him a unique path to redemption during the Great Famine of Bengal.

Bio.
Joel Krantz is and songwriter and entertainer. He has been the bandleader of The JK Band for more than 25 years, performing at over 2800 private parties and weddings. Ocean in a Teacup is his first musical and a personal mission for him because he considers the lead character his personal mentor and this musical is his attempt to keep these incredible characters alive.
