Bio.
Mickala MJ Jones is a playwright originally from Louisville, KY, who relocated to New York in 2018 to pursue her passion for theater. Drawing inspiration from her own experiences with identity and activism, Jones crafted her debut play about the life and legacy of Malcolm X. Through her work, she explores themes of empowerment, resilience, and the enduring relevance of Malcolm X’s message in today
