Blurb
In a holding cell after a protest, Alex, an immigrant from Russia, meets Barbara, a supporter of strict immigration policies. Their conversation starts awkwardly but quickly turns into a heated debate about identity and freedom.

Bio.
Born to Slovenian mother and German father, Amelie Eckert moved to NYC to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where she received an Advanced Actor Training certification. Amelie has started to write and produce her own work, her short film Flynn, is currently having it’s film festival run, and after a successful opening of Borderline at Riff Raff, Amelie hopes to continue showcasing the play.
