I had an absolutely wonderful experience getting to work in the festival. I received extensive information about what to expect and prepare for upon my play being accepted, and they were incredibly responsive to every email that I sent. This was all super comforting as I worked towards the production of my show, which itself was a surreal experience. Stepping into the theater and realizing that my team and I were about to get to use it for our creation truly felt like a dream come true. I never imagined getting an opportunity like this, and I am still so grateful to the festival for making it happen. Everyone working in the theater alongside us was incredibly kind and welcoming. I could not have asked for a greater New York debut or a finer setting to share my work in. And I’d love to thank you again for all of this, this experience truly meant the world to me.
