Blurb
Set in the 90’s about a Pakistani immigrant family living in NYC. Mehrunnissah (wife) has built an outstanding reputation for herself and her family in the Pakistani community, impressive enough for New York Times to write an article about her contributions. Syed, husband and gay, doesn’t want unnecessary attention as he has secret to guard. Tensions rise as the day of interview gets closer.

Bio.
Rehan Qureshi started a dance company in 2012 out of dire need of storytelling through dance, mainly highlighting social issues. His company has showcased 6 new dance shows from 2015 – 2019. Rehan has also collaborated with other local theater companies within NYC. Over the last few years, He has indulged in play writing and finished my first play. He is thrilled to tell a new story through different form of art.
