BIOGRAPHY:
Vince Goodman was born in the Republic of the Philippines during the Dictatorship Period, under the violent regime of Ferdinand Marcos and his wife, Imelda Marcos. He spent his youth in Los Angeles where he was also cultured in its vibrant film and art scenes. He was mentored by Actors Studio Playwright and Former Women In Film President, Gloria Goldsmith. He is the only child of Eva Lopez Padernal, who served as the Chief of Staff of the late Philippine Senator Rene Cayetano. He started writing plays and skits at age seven. He made his New York City theater debut with his play - "THE MYTH OF FORGIVENESS" (2020);Nominated in the Best Actor Category *New York Theater Festival. It was preceded with "SAINTS OF NEW YORK" (2021)*Private Performance, "AN ADJUSTMENT OF LOVE" (2021)*New York Theater Festival, "BLUE & GOLD" (2022)*New York Theater Festival; Nominated in the Best Actress Category, and "BEFORE THE FLOOD" (2026)*New York Theater Festival. He was educated at New York Film Academy and Fordham University. He is the Writer-at-Large of bushwickinfiction.com - a short fiction series online. He credits his continued life on stage to the New York Theater Festival. Vince is an Active Member of the Dramatists Guild of America and lives in the Bushwick Neighborhood of New York City.
