BIOGRAPHY:
I am an actor/director with a MFA degree in Directing from Boston University’s School for the Arts. A member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA Financial Core Participant, I have acted both regionally and Off-Off Broadway, primarily with Untitled Theatre #61. Other NYC companies I have worked for are: The Guerrilla Shakespeare Project, Hunger & Thirst Theatre Collective, Metropolitan Playhouse, and Workhouse Theatre. Regionally, I have performed at Sacred Fools’ Co. in Los Angeles; Cider Mill Playhouse, Cortland Rep, and the Actors’ Shakespeare Co. in New York; and Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre, and Studio Theatre’s Second Stage in Washington, D.C. On television, I appeared in the final season of the series Damages. In New York City, I directed two world premiere musicals for the NYC International Fringe Festival -- SUV: The Musical! in 2005 and Murder at the Food Co-op in 2016 -- as well as Moliere’s Amphitryon at the Miranda Theatre in 1997. In addition, I have directed academically, most recently in my capacity as Interim Director of the Theatre Program at St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H., in 2007-8. I also served as Assistant Director for productions at the Old Globe Theatre and at Arena Stage. Born in Bogota, Colombia, I spent my childhood in Paraguay, Bolivia, Egypt, and Honduras, and hold a bachelor's degree from Harvard College.
