BIOGRAPHY:
Aviva Katz is a NYC-based director, performer, arts administrator, and theatre educator specializing in new work and theatre for social change. She is passionate about developing plays that spark meaningful conversation, amplify underrepresented voices, and inspire empathy. An Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Aviva has directed award-winning work at the Gene Frankel Theatre’s 15 Minutes of Frame Festival: The Unusual Chauncey Faust (1st Place, 2025) and The Table Read (2nd Place, 2024). Additional directing credits include Madylon (New York Theater Festival), 13 Suits: A Mother’s Monologues (The Raven Theatre), her original adaptation of Little Women, Anything Goes the musical, The Wizard of Oz, and more. Aviva is thrilled to collaborate with playwrights, producers, and theatre-makers dedicated to impactful and innovative performance.
