BIOGRAPHY:
Kat de Mesa is a Filipino-American physical theatre artist and performer based in Manhattan. They hold a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts where they trained at the Experimental Theatre Wing as well as the Commedia Dell'arte program at NYU Florence.This training has allowed Kat to develop an open, curious, artistic heart intent on immersing itself in different artistic processes. Beyond undergrad, Kat has continued to develop their art by performing in shows ranging from choreography theatre to straight plays. Currently they are working on developing their next dance theatre piece. Up next, you can catch Kat performing at A.R.T. New York in Adrianna Di Liello’s new show.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. While there, trained at the Experimental Theatre Wing and at the Commedia Dell'Arte program in NYU Florence.
