BIOGRAPHY:
Kaila Williams (Filmmaker and Photographer) is a Poughkeepsie-based filmmaker and the founder of the photography company Defined Digitals. She has worked across numerous roles in media production, serving as assistant director, editor, and production coordinator on projects including Her Earth, Food for Thought, Waiting for C-Row, and The Killer.
Kaila spent five years producing content for the New York State Office of Mental Health and contributed research to the HBO documentary A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks. She is currently a producer and project manager with Tan Clan Multimedia. Kaila is thrilled to bring her experience as assistant director on Waiting for C-Row to this production.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
I attended Long Island University Brooklyn where I received my bachelor degree in film studies and a minor in journalism.
