BIOGRAPHY:
Is an international, multihyphenate from the Boogie Down Bronx, New York. With roots in both the Caribbean and the NYC Vogue Ballroom Scene, her experimental sound has been articled in both AFROPUNK and The Fader. She has been featured in The New Yorker, the New York Times, W Magazine, and more. She has curated performances for New York Live Arts, Soho Repertory Theater, VICE and more. In 2021, she was awarded the New York State Proclamation and made her television debut as “Swan” on the series finale of POSE on FX. She can also be seen in the film Pariah directed by Dee Rees and the short film B Word by Honora Talbott. She currently resides on Munsee-Lenape land as a Bard graduate, a soprano member of Lavender Light Gospel Choir, and she continues curating events as co-founder of the House of Transcendence. Her work can be found on all streaming platforms and archived at the Brooklyn Museum.
