Blurb

Ghost Light follows Claire Doyle, a successful but disillusioned film star seeking a return to true acting by joining a Broadway production of a long-forgotten play once headlined by the legendary stage veteran, Ethel Merman. Things take a bizarre turn when the ghost of Merman haunts the theater, determined to sabotage Claire’s performance and protect her legacy.

Bio.

Matt Gurren is a writer, performer and filmmaker. Past shows include RIO UPHILL (2025 production Sao Paulo), WHAT DO CRITICS KNOW? (Alice Griffin Theater), The Suffragette (Center Stage) and The Appraiser’s Desk. His shows have been developed and performed at The ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop, The York Theatre Company, Theater Row, Feinstein’s/54Below, Center Stage and the Brookfield Theatre.
