Michael and Ellen return to his hometown in rural Wisconsin for a family reunion. In the recently restored Roman Catholic Church, an emotional touchstone for Michael, he shares the story of how his grandparents fell in love and how his grandfather’s death shaped him as a child. Then Ellen reveals a secret that puts their relationship in potential jeopardy.
