The Son of God has returned to Heaven, and finds himself extremely depressed. With the help of his best friend, he attempts to make sense of his new post-existence, avoid the meddling influence of his father (who is also him (it’s complicated)), and write his ultimate screenplay. S.O.G. Story is a play about the power of friendship, and about finding the courage to live.

Bio.
Julia Smith is a writer, playwright, and dramaturg based in New York City. Her play BITCHES was produced at the NOMADS Wordplay Staged Readings Festival (2024), and she was the writer and host of “Talk Theatery to Me”, a radio show exploring theatre history, on WBAR radio.
