BIOGRAPHY:
Elise Hansen is an actor and journalist in New York City. She recently played a supporting role in "The Golden Ibburs," which was nominated for Best Production in New York Theater Festival's spring/summer 2025 season. Other recent credits include "Heard Mentality" (co-lead) at ATA's Sargent Theater; "Macbeth" (Weird Sister, Siward, Murderer) in ATA's Cullum Theater; "We Connect" (co-lead) at the Producers Club; as well as roles in several short and independent films.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
BA in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University; MS in Data Journalism from Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. Courses in Acting, Screen Acting, Speaking Voice, Speech and Alexander Technique at HB Studio. Clown 1 and Clown 2 at Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and basic ballet and musical theater dance at Broadway Dance Center.
