BIOGRAPHY:
Gina-Simone Pemberton (Keisha), NYC stage and screen actor and singer, was recently seen on stage as Harriet Tubman (Mother Moses) in the play The Visit Of Mother Moses, as a part of the New York Theater Festival, Off Broadway in A Soulful Christmas: A Groovy Musical Revenue, as Rose in August Wilson’s Fences (AUDELCO nominee), and as Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill. Other theater credits include: OFF BROADWAY: Trilogy ll (Gladys) The Female Role Model Project, (Transforma Theater; 3LD, NYC), and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019, USERS (imsohot@gmail.com), Treasure Island The Musical (Meg), REGIONAL; Priscilla Queen Of The Desert (Diva), Henry “Box” Brown - A Musical Journey (Nancy), The Nun Before Christmas (Sister Wendy), High School Musical (Taylor McKesse), The Full Monty (Estelle Genoverse), Little Shop Of Horrors (Crystal), Why Do Fools Fall In Love (Sally), Film Credits Include: Foul-Up (Chelsea), Friday and Friday (Detective Gina), The Executed (Maya), We’ll Meet Again (Aunt Lilly) The History Will Always Stay (Constance), The Match Party (Charlene).
