A dynamic fashionista and a lifelong New Yorker, Carrie is a Theater, Film, and Television Actor/Director/Host whose training is rooted in Meisner Technique which she studied with Michael Harney and later completed a 2-year Meisner Acting Training Program with Phil Gushee and Joe Anania, dedicated to the teachings of The Neighborhood Playhouse. She has also studied acting at HB Studios and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her passion for storytelling and performance is one born of the need to express and find our shared humanity and find the beauty in the fragility of our lives.
Her work/projects have been seen at NYC venues such as Theatre for the New City, The National Opera Center, Lincoln Center, and as part of the Equity Library Theatre. She has been a finalist in the virtual Playbill VTF Live Festival and Rogue Theatre Festival and was a frequent contributor as actor, co-host, and director of the online/radio program AirPlay from
2020-2023. When she is not on stage or on camera, she can be found singing with the Peace of Heart Choir where she is a soloist and a Steering Committee member or perhaps she can even be found dressed as Alice in Wonderland on the weather forecast of WABC News.
