Maira Bondre is a Greek actress based in New York, known for her dynamic performances across theater, film, and television. With a strong background in classical and contemporary acting, she has brought complex and emotionally rich characters to life on international stages, from the National Theater of Greece to Clifftown Theatre in the UK. She holds a BFA in World Performance from East 15 Acting School and has further honed her craft at the New York Film Academy and National Theater of Greece. Maira’s versatility extends beyond acting, with a passion for dance, movement, and physical theater. Fluent in multiple languages and adept at various accents, she is dedicated to storytelling that challenges and captivates audiences.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Maira has received extensive training in performance, specializing in both classical and contemporary techniques. She earned a BFA in World Performance from East 15 Acting School and completed a one-year conservatory program in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy. Her training includes private coaching with renowned director Nikos Katis, devising work with the National Theater of Greece’s Youth Theater Company, and ballet-contemporary studies at the National Dance School. She has also developed skills in movement-based theater and physical storytelling through ETHOS Theater and the NYFA 1 year Acting for Film Conservatory program.
