BIOGRAPHY:
Bella Balsamo is an actor and producer born and raised in Los Angeles. She spent nearly seven years producing in New York whilst studying The Method at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She has been producing independent theatre, film and music videos since 2019 and acting since early childhood. Bella starred in a production of Edward Allan Baker’s ‘Dolores’ directed by Suzanne DiDonna of The Actor’s Studio, alongside Shiraz Tzarfati in New York City (2020).
Her process includes an intense character creation using research, movement and mediation whilst working closely with the director. Bella originated the role of Madeline Moss in the debut run of ‘Sunbreak’ in Los Angeles. Her current projects include ‘Seminar’ by Theresa Rebeck directed by Jeremy Luke and ‘Savage in Limbo’ by John Patrick Shanley directed by Leif Gantvoort, both premiering in Los Angeles.
