DANA II follows the journey of an AI who was created to replace the wife of its creator as it struggles to assert its emerging identity. In addition, it explores the unraveling of a casually manipulative man as he slowly realizes he is unable to fully control those closest to him.

Bio.
Jasmine Hyman is a playwright based in New York City. She has written three full-length plays, with the most recent, Dana II, receiving a staged reading in 2023. She is currently the production manager and dramaturg for “Ella the Ungovernable” at Theater for the New City, and serves as a co-chair on the Florence Belsky Foundation’s theater committee.
