BIOGRAPHY:
Alex Emanuel (Dan, "KIN") is a New York-based actor, musician, writer, producer, filmmaker and visual artist. He's appeared onstage in world premiere productions at Oregon Shakespeare, ZSpace in San Francisco and the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, and played "Deckard" in the New York theatrical premiere of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" -an adaptation of the novel Bladerunner was based on- among other theatrical projects. His TV credits include roles on Succession, 50 Central, Public Morals, Blue Bloods, House of Cards and Law and Order among other shows, and he's acted in many feature and short films, most recently winning Best Supporting Actor at Indie Short Fest in LA for his role in the short Just in Time (USA). Alex produced, acted in and wrote original music for the award winning rock 'n roll indie feature comedy The Incoherents, currently streaming on Amazon Prime and being adapted for a TV series, and the first full length play he's written, "Come and Knock Down My Door", has enjoyed successful readings. Presently, Alex is working on a documentary and a book about his father, the late great Illustrator Robert Grossman, and finishing up a followup album to "Better Light' (Peacedale Records), his self recorded solo pandemic album.
