BIOGRAPHY:
Francesca Pecchi is an Italian-Belgian actor and director, born and raised in Brussels, Belgium. From 2017 to 2020 she was a leading member of a local theatre company called "Le Giovani Teste Matte" with which she had the privilege of portraying various iconic roles such as the Vain in "The Little Prince", the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz", and the Genie in "Aladdin".
In 2021, she relocated to NYC to pursue her acting career where she graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She made her off-off Broadway debut in "A Sketch of New York" at the Producers Club, followed then by her role in the original play "Quail Tales" written by Christine Stoddard and directed by Abigail Gabor at the Players Theatre. One of her all time favorite roles is when she played William Dunn in the hysterical comedy play "Men On Boats" directed by Sarah Blush at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
In December 2023, she made her debut as both playwright and director with the original play "Miss Universe" in collaboration with Emilio Garcia and Josephine Hawley, sold out off-off Broadway.
In March 2023, with fellow colleague and friend Lucia Sapienza, she co-founded Thymos Productions LLC - a production company whose mission is to elevate underspoken voices and reveal international talent of the New York scene.
