BIOGRAPHY:
Monica is a classically trained Australian actress based in New York City. Her first role was at 12 years old playing a kleptomaniac with a particular love for socks. Making an audience laugh ignited a little fire in her belly. Since then, Monica has performed across Australian and New York theatre & film, including original theatre productions, and touring with a Shakespeare repertory company. Most recently Monica starred in ‘Aging is Not a Fairytale’ at Theater for the New City, ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ at both the Chain Theatre and the Secret Theatre, and in the Sci-Fi theatrical play podcast ‘Echoes’. In May, Monica will be performing in the new play '45 Scenes of Bad Sickness’ by Robert Liebowitz at the Little Church. Monica is thrilled to be making her debut at the New York Theater Festival.
