BIOGRAPHY:
Dan Brown is a writer/director from Rockaway Beach, NY. His documentary- John Cori Warned You was released in 2013. In 2020 Dan published a book of his fiction writing- The Sometimes Why; Short Stories, Monologues, and Words to that Effect. In 2021 he directed the stage production- Tales From the Sometimes Why. Dan’s latest stage production- The Eleven Story Drop, debuted in January 2023. His plays have been featured in a number of theater festivals including The Mollies (Queens Short Play Festival) and Sunshine Unlimited (New York Theater Festival) His screenplay, The Impure Season was selected among the winners of the 2023 New York International Screenplay Awards.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:
BFA Graduate from The School of Visual Arts- Screenwriting Major

SPECIAL SKILLS:
I have directed my own plays, and also have experience directing other writers' work. I can bring a new vision to a project, or fulfill a prescribed vision.
