Blurb

An actress laments her disappointed dreams. A generous demon offers her an opportunity, but everything is not as it seems. Inspired by Noh theater and Butoh dance, ACTRESS lays bare the rot that sits deep inside of a woman who knows that no one hates women more than an actress. How far would an actress go to get what she wants? And what would she be willing to do to anyone that stood in her way?

Bio.

Catie’s theater career has brought her from classrooms where she studied Shakespeare and Meisner, to the experimental theater scene in Texas, clown school in northern California, then to Noh theaters and Butoh dance studios in Tokyo, and finally here to New York where she founded the queer POC performance art collective Jade Ring.
